Keramische Eishockey-Pucks prägen die Fassade der WM-Finalarena 🏒 Vor den Augen der Eishockeywelt wurde gestern in Zürich 🇨🇭 um den WM-Titel gespielt. Die Fassade der Swiss Life Arena trägt dabei ein Detail, das direkt auf den Sport verweist: Runde keramische Fliesen mit 76 mm Durchmesser und schwarzer Oberfläche, inspiriert von den Maßen eines Eishockey-Pucks ⚫ Für die von Caruso St John Architects geplante Arena entwickelte Agrob Buchtal eine projektspezifische Sonderfertigung. Die runden Keramikelemente prägen das Erscheinungsbild des Gebäudes und schaffen eine direkte Verbindung zwischen Architektur und Nutzung. So wird die Identität des Hauptnutzers, der ZSC Lions, bereits an der Gebäudehülle sichtbar. Ein Beispiel dafür, wie maßgeschneiderte Keramiklösungen architektonische Konzepte bis ins Detail unterstützen können. --- Ceramic ice hockey pucks adorn the facade of the World Championship final arena 🏒 Yesterday in Zurich 🇨🇭, the World Championship title was decided before the eyes of the ice hockey world. The facade of the Swiss Life Arena features a detail that directly references the sport: round ceramic tiles with a diameter of 76 mm and a black surface, inspired by the dimensions of an ice hockey puck ⚫ Agrob Buchtal developed a custom-made product specifically for the arena, which was designed by Caruso St John Architects. The round ceramic elements define the building’s appearance and create a direct link between architecture and function. Thus, the identity of the main user, the ZSC Lions, is already visible on the building’s exterior.
