Together with BayWa AG colleagues Markus Leinfelder, Reinhold Bichle, Hannah Gross, Thomas Braunfels, and Sabrina Riedmeier-Beerbaum, we explored how our AgriFoodTech Venture Alliance portfolio company Blue Planet Ecosystems is rethinking #aquaculture. Their #fullyautomated, #AI-driven aquatic systems combine hardware, software, and biology to enable sustainable fish farming and decentralized food production — a forward-looking concept for modern agriculture? #Diversification is key for the future of farming. In regions like Bavaria, more than 60% of farms operate part-time and rely on additional income streams.
