Five questions to ask any AI agency before you sign anything. Including us. One. What happens when the system breaks at 2am? If the answer is a blank look, they have never run anything in production. Two. Who owns the code and the data when we part ways? You would be surprised how many contracts quietly answer "not you." Three. Can I see something you built that is still running a year later? Demos are easy. Survival is the portfolio. Four. What part of my problem does not need AI? An honest agency will tell you when a simple automation, or no software at all, is the right answer. That honesty is worth more than any capability list. Five. Who actually builds this? If the pitch team and the build team are different companies, you are not hiring who you think you are hiring.
