The 2010s marked a decade where the legacy of AGIE CHARMILLES continued to evolve through advanced technologies and new manufacturing possibilities. In 2010, the combination of ISPG intelligent spark control, advanced Orbiting Strategies and OilTech dielectric management redefined die-sinking EDM performance, delivering higher productivity, improved stability and exceptional surface quality. Innovation accelerated in 2011 with Cut and Coat technology, the Integrated Vision Unit (IVU) for in-process optical measurement in wire EDM, and new capabilities for high-precision drilling. In 2012 the intuitive AC FORM HMI simplified programming and optimized machining strategies. This evolution continued in 2013 with the CUT 200 mS/Sp and its AC CUT interface. A major breakthrough came in 2016 with the CUT P series and its Cableless Generator, improving spark stability, cutting performance and energy efficiency. Whilst in 2019, ISPS-Spark Track introduced a world first in EDM: real-time, pinpoint detection of the spark position along the wire, setting new standards for precision and reliability.
