💡 The AGIE CHARMILLES electronics shopfloor: where technology begins Every AGIE CHARMILLES machine carries an electronic heart — designed, assembled, and tested in-house. At our facility in Losone, Switzerland, the electronics shopfloor is one of the most specialised PCB production centres in the precision machine tool industry. Across 1,800 square metres, we manage around 800 codes — series production and spare parts alike. Our SMT lines integrate solder paste printing, pick & place, and reflow, delivering precision, repeatability, and process stability ⚙️. THT technologies, combined with selective and wave soldering, handle even the most complex products with confidence. Every board goes through a comprehensive validation system: visual inspection, in-circuit testing, flying probe, and 15 functional test cabinets. From prototype to series production, test sequences are engineered to ensure consistent quality at every stage. Mechanical assembly, wiring, and final integration complete the flow. The result: verified reliability and uninterrupted supply across the full machine lifecycle.
