Crumble | Rawan | GIKI’23

Rawan crossed 10,000 followers on Instagram today, and we learned with Crumble that the first milestone compounds quickly when the fundamentals stay undisturbed. Nine months in with Rawan, the patience required has been different, because the audience, the purpose, and the meaning of this number are all different. Three things in particular stand out from these nine months. The first is the team and the culture itself. There is almost zero hand holding because everyone knows their work and the reason they are in the room. The one question we ask anyone joining is whether they can answer, at any given moment, why they are at Rawan. Needing a job has never been an acceptable answer. The second is the audience and how the brand is perceived. The focus has stayed on quality in everything we put out, and the recognition from places we never imagined is what makes this number feel real. The third is the product. We have done three drops so far, with two more coming that are possibly the biggest for us yet. Each piece is built with the same intent, something you wait to wear again because it moves with you. InshaAllah this is a big year for Rawan. By the end of it, we hope to have further matured the foundation of something this country can be proud of.
