🎉 Celebrating 10 years of AFD in Uzbekistan! 🇫🇷🇺🇿 Since 2015, the AFD - Agence Française de Développement has been supporting Uzbekistan’s green transition, economic reforms, and projects to improve people’s lives. Together, we’ve invested more than €1.5 billion to: 🌿 support the 2019–2030 Green Economy Strategy, 💧 expand access to water and sanitation, ⚡ modernize the energy grid and boost renewables, 🚜 support farmers and herders, 👩‍💼 strengthen the banking sector and women’s entrepreneurship, 🌱 and help tackle the Aral Sea challenge through reforestation and sustainable water management. These first 10 years are just the beginning — under our new 2026–2030 partnership, AFD will continue to scale up and diversify its actions for sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development.
