⚙️ From Logic Gates to Real-World Actuation: A smart motor controller system in Proteus. Let's dive into my second project in Proteus with the knowledge from Sir William Asamoah and his teaching assistant Philemon Obed Obeng . The core objective of this design is automated thermal safety. As shown in the simulation, the motor successfully cuts out the exact moment the environment hits 120°C. How the architecture achieves this: The Trigger: The LM35 sensor voltage crosses the RV1 potentiometer's reference threshold, forcing the LM358 comparator output HIGH. The Interlock: A 74LS04 inverter flips that signal LOW, creating a hardware-level safety override. The Break: A 74LS08 AND gate drops its output, instantly switching off the 2N2222 NPN transistor. The Shutoff: The 5V relay de-energizes, safely opening the contacts and killing power to the motor. ( Shouted out to the 1N4001 flyback diode for absorbing the inductive kickback!).
