Just landed back home after an unforgettable month in Portugal, and what a milestone it was. For the past five months, our global team across three continents has been working tirelessly on the Nestlé & I employee listening survey, connecting with over 250,000 employees worldwide, turning their voices into insights, and bringing those insights to life through more than 110 reports and presentations across businesses, markets, and functions. Being together in Lisbon at this crucial stage made all the difference. We brainstormed, built, refined, and laughed a lot. It’s incredible how much stronger collaboration becomes when faces replace screens. This month also carried some special moments: - I celebrated one year at Nestlé on October 1st. - We celebrated Isabel Martinelli's birthday on October 8th. - And we bid farewell (for now) to Jackie Machaba (She/Her), as she moves on to a new adventure back in South Africa. I’m deeply proud of what we achieved together, not just the numbers, but the purpose behind them: shaping a better employee experience for more than a quarter of a million people around the world. Huge thanks to Nataliya Filonenko for making this month possible, David Fiuza Machado, MBA, PMP® and Ana Mackay for the warm Portuguese hospitality, Isabel Martinelli for leading the project with brilliance, Peter Toh for co-leading with me the analytics front, Sayak Ray, Varad Aggarwal, JOJO ACHARYA, Winnie Benson-Tambo, Baldwin Yinkore, PMP, Olena Terekh, YUKTI GUPTA, and Andriy T. for every late night, and Kyle J. Page, Ph.D. for keeping the energy high through it all. Portugal gave us more than great food and views, it gave us momentum, connection, and a sense of shared purpose that I’ll carry forward. 🇵🇹❤️
