We are proud to share that AFRY has been commissioned by the Swedish Food Agency to develop technical requirement specifications for mobile and modular grain mills, along with the packaging solutions that go with them. 🌾 This work is part of strengthening the preparedness and resilience of Sweden's food system. The goal is clear: secure food production for more than one million people during crises and periods of heightened need for readiness. A key requirement is that the solutions work under demanding conditions, with a special focus on Sweden's northernmost regions. "Contributing to a more robust and resilient food system is an important mission. By combining our expertise in food production, process industry, and technical requirements development, we can support the Swedish Food Agency in developing future solutions for Sweden's resilience in food production," says Jessica Stenberg, Head of Segment Food at AFRY.
