IndiGenius, a student enterprise under ALA’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, brought together over 35 students for an evening exploring game-based learning through virtual reality experiences, puzzle-solving, speed-running, and collaborative competition. Focused on improving K–12 education in South Africa, IndiGenius uses game-based education to develop often-overlooked cognitive skills such as critical thinking, processing speed, working memory, and spatial reasoning. The event also contributed to the expansion of IndiRecords, the enterprise’s digital achievement and leaderboard platform, while creating space for entertainment, creativity, and community.   #ALA #EntrepreneurialLeadership #IndiGenius #EducationInnovation
