For Africa to lead its health future, Africa must be trusted to manage its own resources. The Pandemic Fund has accredited Africa CDC as an implementing entity, recognizing the institution's strong governance, accountability, and technical capacity. This milestone strengthens Africa's ability to mobilize and deploy resources where they are needed most, supporting countries to better prevent, detect and respond to outbreaks.
