Mpox vaccination is underway in Madagascar, with 7,233 people vaccinated so far in hotspot districts and among key populations. Led by the Ministry of Health and supported by the Continental IMST — bringing together Africa CDC, World Health Organization, and partners — the response goes beyond vaccines. It includes strengthened surveillance, case investigation, contact tracing, laboratory testing, risk communication, and community engagement. Support also covers surge deployment of the African Health Volunteers Corps (#AVoHC), critical medical supplies, and capacity building for frontline responders and community health workers. #MpoxResponse #HealthSecurity
