AFERM President Sam Twyman, MAcc, CFE shares an important update as the organization enters its next chapter with AGA. He announced a special AFERM Goodbye & AGA Welcome Gathering on May 21, 2026, at Five Iron Golf in Washington, DC—an opportunity for members to celebrate AFERM’s legacy, reconnect with colleagues, and look ahead to the future within AGA. A nominal $5 registration fee will cover food, drinks, games, and a raffle ticket. The AFERM website will remain accessible (without new updates) through September 30, 2026. AGA will soon begin offering ERM‑focused programming, starting with the webinar Cyber Risk is Business Risk on June 12. A meaningful milestone for the community—and a promising path forward.
