🎉 Congratulations to the AbbVie team on their recent publication in Electrophoresis: "Optimized iCIEF Fractionation Enables Deep Profiling of Antibody Drug Conjugate Charge Heterogeneity" 💡 This work presents an innovative analytical workflow that combines preparative iCIEF fractionation with multi-level mass spectrometry characterization to enable deeper understanding of complex ADC charge heterogeneity. By isolating and characterizing low-abundance charge variants, the authors provide valuable insights into the relationships among charge variants, DAR distribution, and post-translational modifications. We are honored that the CEInfinite preparative iCIEF platform from AES contributed to this important study. The publication demonstrates how preparative iCIEF fractionation can unlock detailed characterization of complex biotherapeutics and help address challenging questions in ADC development.
