Aegon will propose to extend Lard Friese’s term as Aegon’s CEO and Executive Director of the Board of Directors to 2030. The proposal will be on the agenda of Aegon’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 10 this year. Mr. Friese has served as Aegon’s CEO since May 2020, and his current term is set to expire in 2028. David Herzog, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that Lard Friese leadership and vision were central to Aegon’s transformation.
