Designing resilient healthcare systems in Peru At the European Healthcare Design conference in London, AECOM’s Jason Pearson and Stephen Herbert joined Ignacio Higueras Hare, Ambassador of Peru to the United Kingdom, to discuss the transformational Peru Hospital Programme.   The session explored how the UK-Peru Government-to-Government (G2G) model is supporting the delivery of a major national healthcare programme across Peru, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration and long-term investment in healthcare infrastructure.   Stephen and Jason also shared the design challenges involved in delivering hospitals across different seismic and climate conditions, and what that means for flexibility, resilience and continuity of care during extreme weather events.   Thank you to the Ambassador and to Embassy of Peru in the United Kingdom, for sharing their perspective.
