Celebrate diversity, challenge prejudice, and embrace Academic Freedom as an Ally of EDI This is the third of three articles in our thought leadership series, ''Leadership and community cohesion', Professor Dibyesh Anand, DVC University of Westminster, challenging institutional comfort more directly, arguing that inclusion requires not only celebration but confrontation, and that freedom itself must be reclaimed as a condition of democratic and inclusive participation. He says, "Higher education should celebrate diversity with confidence. But if it does not also challenge prejudice with seriousness, its commitment to inclusion is incomplete.
