It was a privilege to attend MP Deirdre Costigan’s Parliamentary Reception at the Houses of Parliament and engage with so many individuals dedicated to serving our communities. The evening provided a valuable opportunity to: • Network with councillors, community leaders and prominent members of the Ealing community. • Discuss the challenges local residents face and the practical solutions being pursued to address them. • Hear insightful remarks from Secretary of State for Education Bridget Phillipson on the future of education and public service. I was particularly encouraged by the conversations around community engagement, local leadership and the role that collaboration plays in driving meaningful change. It was inspiring to hear from those working across different levels of government and community organisations to improve outcomes for residents. A special thank you to Vasantharajan Sinnarajah for the warm welcome and for introducing me to so many inspiring people throughout the evening. Experiences like these reinforce my belief that effective leadership starts with listening to communities, understanding their concerns and working together to deliver real results. I look forward to continuing to play an active role in supporting local initiatives and contributing to the conversations that shape the future of our community. #HousesOfParliament #Ealing #CommunityLeadership #PublicService #LocalGovernment #Politics #Networking #FutureLeaders
