This month marks two years of working under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Gilman for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, conducting research primarily on #ChagasDisease. I couldn’t be more grateful to him for being such an exceptional mentor, igniting my passion for research and broadening my perspective to embrace greater possibilities. I feel truly fortunate to be on a professional path that not only inspires me intellectually, but also grounds me in a deep sense of purpose, working at the intersection of science, health, and human well-being. I’m very excited for what’s ahead in this journey, and I remain committed to contributing meaningfully to my team and continuing to learn from the dynamic and impactful world of public health. #GlobalHealth #ChagasDisease #NeglectedTropicalDiseases #Research #PublicHealth #JohnsHopkins
