Last week, Tribunal Deputy President Kate Millar delivered a keynote address at the Law Council of Australia’s annual Immigration Law Conference in Brisbane. Deputy President Millar spoke about the Tribunal and its role in immigration law. She provided updates on resourcing, practice directions, migration and protection caseload data, and details about our caseload strategy. The address was well received and sparked valuable discussion amongst conference participants. We welcome the opportunity to participate in conferences and events, as a meaningful way to connect with stakeholders who have an interest in our work.
