I’m proud to share my latest research, "Outsourcing Risk: The Burden of India's E-Waste in Seelampur," published in 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as part of the "𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥" programme. While India generates tonnes of e-waste annually, 95% is handled by the informal sector. My study examines how "paper compliance" often shifts toxic risks onto the families in the informal sector (Seelampur), and why we must move toward a hybrid hub-and-spoke model to integrate informal workers safely. I sincerely thank my mentors, Parth Kumar and Shobhit Srivastava, for their expert guidance, and the guiding support of Sakshi Uniyal and Souparno Banerjee at the Centre for Science and Environment, New Delhi (CSE), and the Green Educators' Network (GEN). As I wrap up my final semester at Jamia Millia Islamia, this experience has been a vital bridge between Public Administration and environmental justice. 📄 Full article is attached below! #Sustainability #EWaste #PublicPolicy #CircularEconomy #CSEIndia #GreenEducators #JamiaMilliaIslamia #ClimateAction
