My SAWRA notes 20200505 NO PAS(D)ARAN!!! It is a crucial choice to decide which Lebanon we want. And choosing is renouncing, and renouncing starts with denouncing the illegitimate armed presence of a party that robbed our dignity. 🇱🇧Denouncing their foreign allegiance 🇱🇧Denouncing their negative impact(s) 🇱🇧Denouncing their partaking and protecting corruption 🇱🇧Denouncing their obfuscated politics (the Fakhoury scandal was the most recent) 🇱🇧Denouncing their taking hostage a full strata or our Lebanese brothers Failing to do so will result in a ZERO sum game for all of Lebanon, as well as the Hezb, a mere Iranian fuse that won’t even stand a chance of reaping any glory once they’re done preying on the little remains of what was the cradle of Mediterranean civilizations. They’ll just hand 6,000 years of history and a great legacy to a bench of turbaned Ayatollahs that will then cynically use it as leveraged asset to negotiate with the ‘Ayathoras’. Let’s act responsibly, clearly and rapidly creating a united sovereign front with all those who’ll denounce and renounce, and I personally don’t give a damn about roping in saints and devils alike… that same allegory on sewage water, a water I’ll use to put down the fire burning our beloved nation. #IWantMyCountryBack
