Congratulations! At last week’s Press Club of Long Island 2026 awards ceremony, our student newspaper team had much to celebrate. The Delphian received the second-place award for Best College Newspaper, and James A. Beamer III was awarded second place in the Narrative Features Story category for his article “Championing Neurodiversity and Empowerment Through Adelphi’s Bridges Program.” Liza Burby, senior adjunct faculty in the Department of Communications, received first place in the History category for a Newsday article about university archives, including Adelphi University's.
