Big congratulations to the outstanding members of our community who have been recognised in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours list this week 🎉 More than 45 recipients including current and former staff, alumni and friends of Adelaide University have received honours this year. Vice-Chancellor, Prof Nicola Phillips, says the honours reflect the positive, tangible outcomes our community has on society. “The King’s Birthday Honours highlight just some of the ways our students, staff and alumni have had success and impact on the world around them,” Prof Phillips says. “I am delighted to offer my congratulations to those who have been honoured.” We're proud to recognise the following recipients from our community: Companion of the Order of Australia (AC):  💜 Natasha Stott Despoja AC: For eminent service to the prevention of domestic, family and sexual violence, to gender equity, and to the promotion of human rights and global systemic change.
