One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned through karting is that it’s about so much more than racing. For the first time since 2017, I missed one of Carson’s races. When we first started this journey, I never imagined there would come a day when he would head to the track without us. Between racing and running kartEparts, we’ve spent countless weekends together in the paddock, working side by side, solving problems, and learning together. This weekend, he packed the trailer, prepared his kart, loaded everything himself, drove to Brechin, and managed his entire race weekend independently. Family was there to cheer him on, but every racing decision and every bit of preparation was his responsibility. The results were incredible: 🏁 Fastest in qualifying while setting a new track record. 🏁 Won the pre-final and lowered the track record again. 🏁 Won the final and broke the track record for a third time. As proud as we are of the speed and the wins, we’re even more proud of what they represent. Years spent at the track—and through kartEparts—have taught responsibility, preparation, resilience, and confidence. Those lessons extend far beyond motorsports. Sometimes the greatest success isn’t standing beside your child in the pits—it’s watching them prove they’re ready to stand on their own.
