As the GroundBreak Coalition continues to grow and advance its mission, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to Erin Imon Gavin, Ed.D., who has served as Acting Project Director over the past several months. Erin has been instrumental in ensuring alignment across every aspect of the Coalition’s work and growth. In addition to leading the project team, she partnered closely with our Board of Directors to establish a strong governance structure and process—laying the foundation for GroundBreak’s future. Most recently, Erin has played a vital role in supporting my transition into the position of CEO, helping ensure continuity, stability, and momentum for our collective efforts. Erin’s last day on the GroundBreak project team will be October 15, as she returns full-time to the McKnight Foundation leadership team. I am deeply grateful for her hard work, dedication, and tenacity in leading GroundBreak during this pivotal period. A heartfelt thank you to Tonya Allen, President of the McKnight Foundation, for generously lending Erin’s time and expertise to GroundBreak during this critical transition. Her partnership and leadership have been invaluable. We would not be where we are today without Erin’s steady leadership and unwavering commitment to this mission.
