The most meaningful investments are those that create lasting value for people. That is why, alongside developing critical infrastructure, Acwa is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen communities, encourage dialogue, and bring people together. As part of our CSR commitment in Uzbekistan, Acwa Central Asia and the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation brought together young people and representatives of the older generation through the Generations United Tennis Series, held within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum 2026. Designed to strengthen mentorship, encourage knowledge sharing, and address social isolation, the initiative creates meaningful opportunities for interaction across generations, demonstrating how sport can serve as a powerful platform for dialogue, learning, and mutual understanding. Deputy Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan, Aziz Khamidov, noted that the development of tennis today extends far beyond sporting achievement. According to him, sport has become an important tool for developing human capital, strengthening social ties, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. He also emphasized that hosting the festival within the framework of TIIF 2026 adds further significance to the initiative by bringing together representatives of business, international organizations, and public institutions around shared social objectives. As highlighted by Aziz Yarkulov, Cluster Chief Financial Officer of Acwa in Uzbekistan, meaningful progress is driven by collaboration between generations. While experienced professionals contribute knowledge, expertise, and leadership, younger generations bring fresh ideas, energy, and innovative approaches that help shape the future. Following the successful launch of Generations United in 2025, this year's event marked the first activity of the initiative in 2026 and the second event in the series overall, reflecting the continued commitment of Acwa and its partners to strengthening communities through sport. Through shared experiences on and off the court, participants connected across generations, reinforcing the idea that some of the strongest communities are built when experience meets new perspectives. We are proud to see Generations United continue to grow as part of Acwa's broader CSR agenda, supporting community engagement, human capital development, and long-term social impact in Uzbekistan. #TIIF2026 #GenerationsUnited #Acwa #CSR #CommunityImpact #Mentorship #SocialImpact #Tennis #Uzbekistan
