To celebrate International Children’s Day, Acwa Central Asia invited the children of our employees across all projects in Uzbekistan to take part in a special drawing activity. The theme was simple, but meaningful: how Acwa helps make the world a better place. Through colour, imagination and sincerity, our young artists showed us how they see the future we are helping to build. Their drawings reminded us that our work is not only about power plants, wind turbines, solar panels or major milestones. It is also about people, families, communities and the next generation. Children participated in three age categories: 3 to 6 years, 7 to 11 years, and 12 to 16 years. The artworks were reviewed by Shahin Isayev, Regional Head of Biodiversity for Uzbekistan, Acwa; Ahsen Saeed, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Central Asia, Acwa; Olga Park, Head of People and Culture for Uzbekistan, Acwa; and Janona Akhmedova, Senior Corporate Communications Lead for Uzbekistan, Acwa. We are pleased to congratulate our young winners: Akhat Abylay, Normurodova Mahbubahon, Umar Zoirov, Mexriniso Baxodirova, Amina Ablakulova, Uktamova Solikha, Mirnigmatova Laylo, Aylin Kamalova and Farzona Raximova. The winners received electronic devices, sports equipment, gift certificates and other prizes in recognition of their creativity, effort and imagination. Beyond the awards, this initiative created a moment of pride for our employees and their families. It gave children the confidence to express themselves, to imagine a better tomorrow, and to feel connected to the purpose behind their parents’ work. It also reflected the values we try to live every day at Acwa: Integrity in the way we care for our people, Ingenuity in the way we encourage new ideas, and Impact in the way we create value beyond our projects. Because the future we are building is not only measured in energy. It is also measured in the hopes, dreams, and confidence of the children who will inherit it. #InternationalChildrensDay #Acwa #Uzbekistan #FutureGeneration #Integrity #Ingenuity #Impact
