Abid Malik, President Acwa Central Asia, participated in the International Case Conference (ICC) at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) Acwa in Uzbekistan was proud to take part in the conference, where industry leaders and academics came together to discuss real-world business challenges. A key highlight of the session was the case study presented by Abid Malik on our Sirdarya CCGT project. The case highlighted Abid Malik's personal reflection that the successful delivery of the Sirdarya CCGT was a reflection of what strong partnership can achieve when multiple stakeholders come together with a shared sense of purpose. Through collaboration, constructive engagement, and a collective focus on finding solutions, we were able to deliver one of the largest energy projects in the region. Today, the Sirdarya CCGT stands not only as a major infrastructure achievement, but as an example of how partnership can advance Uzbekistan's energy security while supporting more than 3 million households and enterprises.
