We’re so happy to welcome Nick S. to our team! Here’s a bit about Nick and what he brings to our engineering team: Nick began his career as a Refrigeration Technician in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. After earning his AAS in Refrigeration Technology from St. Philip’s College in 2017 he transitioned from mechanical refrigeration into the rapidly evolving field of building automation. In past roles, Nick developed an automated work-order discrepancy identification system for a well-known retail customer and handled troubleshooting of building automation faults for every EMS make and model. Nick has also supported a smartphone app delivering on-demand air and lighting control in tenant spaces and programmed and installed the AI-powered HANK product using Tridium Niagara 4. Beyond his professional work, Nick is an entrepreneur and technologist. He founded Hill Country Computers, a computer services business, in 2009, and Hill Country Rec, an RV rental company, in 2015. In his free time, he enjoys strategy games, building custom PCs, and hiking with his dog Luna near his home in Fort Collins, Colorado. Please join us in welcoming Nick to our team!
