Hi Folks, I'm hiring an Engineering Manager at Edera. I'm looking for someone who enjoys writing code, reading code, debugging systems, and getting deep into technical problems while also helping engineers grow. The team works on the foundational engineering side of Edera which includes virtualization, Linux, KVM, Xen, Cloud Hypervisor, Rust, CI infrastructure, testing, developer tooling, documentation, and everything else that keeps the rest of engineering moving. If your idea of management is spending your entire day in meetings, this probably isn't the role for you. I'm looking for someone who is deeply technical and genuinely enjoys systems programming and infrastructure. If you've worked on operating systems, virtualization, hypervisors, kernels, container runtimes, or similar low-level infrastructure, I'd especially love to hear from you. The role is remote across the US and Canada, and the team is distributed across the US and Europe, so you'll need to be comfortable working across time zones.
