Events and Operations @ ClickUp
Three cities. One week. ClickUp's The Table series wrapped its Texas tour with back to back nights in Houston and Dallas. Georgia James. The Woolworth. Two very different rooms, one shared undercurrent: "How do we adopt AI without compromising security, governance, or trust?" Privacy dominated the Houston table and carried straight into Dallas the next night: → Leaders caught between speed of adoption and weight of compliance → Security teams don't want to be the department that says "no." They want a seat at the table early enough to build AI responsibly. → A gap between buying AI and embedding it into how people actually work → Employees are ready to use AI, but no one's told them what "safe" looks like yet The technology isn't the limiting factor anymore. Organizational trust is. Thank you Michael Brasket and Jennifer Burrow for joining me in Houston, and Chris Torbert, Trent Wakefield, MBA, and Larry Wilson for bringing the discussion to Dallas! To everyone who joined us across all three cities in Texas: thank you for showing up ready to share what's working, what isn't, and where AI adoption is still getting stuck. Those conversations are what make The Table worth pulling together. 🤝
