Aren’t they wonderful? Black-and-white photos draw the eye to the focal point of the image. The absence of colour creates a sense of visual tranquillity. A balm for the soul. Anyone looking at the photos will feel it immediately. Thank you for these beautiful photos. They remind me that I still have hundreds of my own photos. A year of German reunification, captured during the days of the revolution and the great influx of the Deutschmark into the East German ‘Kaufhallen’.
