Growth & Product Leader | Scaling Revenue, Optimizing Performance, and Building High-Impact Teams

I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity. Like I shared in the interview about my dog, I trusted my instincts. Even though I didn’t know Patrick or Kristi well, I sensed they were good people, that the conversation would be meaningful, and that we might stay connected long after it ended. One moment that stayed with me was Kristi’s point about reunions: often, people are feeling the same things in the same moment, but no one says them out loud. Honest conversation can be cathartic. It helps people feel less alone and gives them permission to share what they are carrying. As a leader, I often sensed when my team was wrestling with something difficult but didn’t know how to raise it. So I would bring everyone together, name the uncomfortable realities, and make space for the conversation. I couldn’t always offer an immediate answer, but I could remind them that we would work through it together and keep moving forward. Those moments mattered—whether people spoke up in the room or came to me afterward to say they felt seen and reassured. This is one thing I have always admired in great leaders: they meet people where they are. I hope listening to this interview helps you in some small way: crystalize a thought on culture, leadership, or just makes your day brighter with a few laughs. Be the light in the world ! Thank you, Patrick and Kristi,
