In "Jorge", I sought to distil the quiet gravitas of a weathered soul into a singular carved form, where every fissure and grain serves as a chronicle of endurance rather than decay. My sculptural language frequently inhabits the threshold between the human and the artefact, revealing an enduring fascination with memory, time, and the silent burden of experience. Through deliberate exaggeration of form and expression, I endeavour to transform timber into psychology, allowing character and materiality to converse as one inseparable presence.
