Can you imagine raising your children to blame someone else for every problem? You didn’t get into school — that’s group X. The economy is terrible — group X. You can’t afford anything — group X. That makes the job of a politician easy. You don’t have to solve anything. Just keep blaming group X. Mamdani is following the example of many who came before him.
