The client came with a name everyone knew. And a brand that no longer fit who they were becoming. GameShark was legendary. Millions of gamers grew up with it. But the world had moved on ā and they had too. AI-powered gaming assistance was the future. The old identity couldn't carry that weight. The challenge wasn't just designing something new. It was designing something new that still felt like home to the people who already loved them. Here's how we approached it š š§šµš² šÆšæš¶š²š³ had 4 clear objectives: ā Preserve the Shark heritage ā Signal AI innovation ā Appeal to both nostalgic and modern gamers ā Work across every digital platform and interface š§šµš² š¶š±š²š®: One symbol. Multiple meanings. The shark fin ā their most recognizable visual asset ā became the foundation. But we didn't stop there. Inside that fin: the letter "A" for AI. The letter "I" for intelligence. Wrapped in a digital frame that signals software and technology. Shark Fin + Letter A + Letter I + Digital Frame = AI Shark. Not a rebrand that erases the past. A rebrand that evolves it. š§šµš² šæš²ššš¹š: A mark built on geometric precision ā every curve, every angle constructed on a grid. A color system that bridges the deep blue of legacy gaming with the electric cyan of AI. Typography in Ethnocentric that feels both technical and bold. One brand. Two generations. Zero compromise. This is what brand identity design looks like when strategy leads the visuals ā not the other way around.
