The story of DIAMONDS project and its consortium is one of tremendous hard work, many challenges, high impact in the diagnosis and management of infectious and inflammatory diseases, and above all, collaboration and friendship. There is so much to be proud of and to celebrate! A week ago, we had the unique opportunity to do just that at the Spanish Embassy - Cultural Office in London. We couldn't be more grateful to Ambassador Emma Aparici Vázquez de Parga for hosting us and for her kind words of support, and to Imperial College provost Peter Haynes for championing European research collaboration and EU funding programmes. Thank you to everyone who participated and to those who made this story possible, especially the entire DIAMONDS consortium, near and far. And a heartfelt thank you to Professor Mike Levin for bringing us all together on a journey that has now spanned more than 20 years. We look forward to future adventures and more innovative work that shapes the future of health diagnosis. And as always, you name it and Research Impact Management Office (RIMO) will make it glow!
