New article ✨ Nouvel article I am glad to (finally!) be able to share that my latest article "The Significance of Cultivating a Dynamic of Trust in Collective Design Practice with Indigenous Communities: Learnings from the Field" has been published by Design and Culture. I am proud to have contributed to this journal, which published many articles that highly influenced my doctoral journey (this article stems from my dissertation project). Find it online here: https://lnkd.in/gmvww_-5 This article shares reflections and findings emerging from my work and research in two international collaborative projects, Dialogues and Encounters in the Arctic and SEEYouth (Social Innovation through Participatory Art and Design with Youth at the Margins: Solutions for Engaging and Empowering Youth with Trans-Atlantic Mirroring). I want to thank, once again, all project collaborators and partners, which helped support understanding collaborative processes and conditions that support ethical and meaningful projects. I profoundly believe we need to pay more attention to the relationships that are required and built through collective work and "invisible" dimensions, like trust, which weaves itself into the very fabric of collaborative processes. I also thank my thesis co-supervisor and co-author, Pierre De Coninck, who truly helped me develop my systemic thinking🌪️ If you can't access the article, please write to me.
