This is not only football support. It is a masterclass in collective energy. Look at the video, #DutchFans in #Dallas. Thousands of people with different ages, backgrounds, and personalities. Yet, in that moment, they move as one. One colour. One rhythm. One direction. Dutch supporters do not wait for somebody else to create the atmosphere. Wherever they go, they build the party together. That is what real cohesion looks like. Management often tries to create engagement through presentations, slogans, or occasional team building activities. But strong cultures are not created by telling people to feel connected. They are created by giving people something meaningful to belong to. In a day to day work environment, this means that everyone understands the purpose, sees how their contribution affects the result, and feels recognised as part of the team. It means creating simple rituals that bring people together. Celebrating progress, not only final results. Making challenges visible and solving them collectively. Giving teams the freedom to contribute their own personality and energy. Most importantly, leaders must participate. You cannot create the mentality shown in this video while watching from the balcony. Leaders must be visible, involved, and prepared to share both the pressure and the celebration. Management cannot demand enthusiasm or cohesion. It can, however, create the conditions in which both become contagious. Teams with that mentality do not wait to be pushed forward. They create momentum for each other. What would change in your organisation if people arrived every day with the same sense of identity, ownership, and shared purpose? #Leadership #Management #TeamCulture #EmployeeEngagement #Teamwork #Cohesion #FIFAWorldCup #Oranje #DutchCulture
