This weekend I completed the AMBT course by the Austrian Space Forum (OeWF) in Innsbruck and I’m still a bit overwhelmed in the best way. 🇦🇹 I’ve been part of OEWF for over 1.5 years now, mainly in the Social Media team, but this experience gave me something completely new: a much deeper understanding of the organisation behind it all. Its structure, its missions, the planning for upcoming Mars analog missions, and all the different teams and tasks that make everything actually work. It was really special to finally see how all the pieces connect and to hear directly from people involved in different roles. It made everything feel even more real and meaningful. On a more personal note, the weekend was just genuinely so much fun. Great people, amazing teamwork, and such a supportive group dynamic from the very beginning. The atmosphere at OEWF’s SuitLab was honestly perfect for it, scientific with all their gear and facilities, but also super welcoming. I really appreciated getting to spend time with OEWF members, flight directors, and the director Gernot Groemer. Everyonewas so open, approachable, and willing to share their experience. That made a huge difference. Also really appreciated how well structured everything was, especially having the AMIT course as a prerequisite – it made the in-person training so much smoother and more engaging. ✨ Overall, just a really special 10/10 experience for me. Feeling very grateful, very motivated, and even more excited to continue supporting OEWF, especially looking ahead to AMADEE-27 in Portugal 🚀 Per aspera ad martem. 🔴 Laura Bettiol Reinhard Tlustos Guillaume Thirion Lisa Putzer Dr. Katharina Wollenberg Dascha Suppes Annie Bhalla Jannik Schönfeld
