Today was the Lenacapavir Launch with President Ramaphosa, Minister Motsoaledi, Peter Sands, and Several High-level Dignatories. During the Launch, Deputy Minister Dr Joe Phaala asserted that as a co-signatory of the UN Charter to end HIV by 2030, we remain committed to ensuring prevention is accessible to all citizens of our nation. Once again, this is a call to decentralize LEN. I provide the counter-arguments to the DoH's reasons for wanting to keep LEN accessible to in-clinic access only.
