Here we go! A small but exciting update: after hours of coding and debugging, I finally managed to get AtomVM + AtomGL running on an ESP32-S3 with a Waveshare 7" RGB touch display. It is not perfect yet, and there is still testing and cleanup to do, but seeing the first result running on real hardware was a very nice moment. No Linux SBC. No desktop runtime. Just embedded Erlang/Elixir getting pixels on an ESP32-S3. When the implementation is stable enough, I plan to open a PR upstream. This was a fun milestone.
