When I said I wanted to be part of a career where I got to see new things everyday, I didn’t expect this at all. While conducting a site visit on a roof, we saw a baby goose jump off the roof parapet and fall into the large waste bin set up by the contractor. Of course, the only logical thing to do was to run down, climb into the bin, fish this little guy out, and bring him back to his parents on the roof - so we took a small detour from my site visit and did just that. Anyway, this little one is back with his family safe and sound, and I learned today that this job is rewarding in more ways than I thought!
