Yesterday was proof that teamwork and camaraderie make the best events. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1966 Fort Lauderdale joined forces with Wounded Warrior Project South Florida chapter for the annual VFW Day of Service, which we chose to do a beach cleanup at a local State Park in Broward County, FL. Lockton VALOR was gracious enough to sponsor lunch and provide additional volunteers. Another veteran org provided photographers to document the event. All together, we removed buckets and bags worth of trash and debris from the beach, dunes, and jetty. I look forward to planning next year's community service event 🇺🇸 🌎
