OK friends, it’s storytime again. This one is a little different. No hackathons, no engineering leads sliding into my Slack DMs. Just a putting mat.⛳️ But stay with me… Last year, when I was still working as a Client Success Associate on Shervin Imankhan ‘s team at Weedmaps . Driving client onboardings, supporting technical issues and making sure our clients were winning. That was the job. But if you know me, you know I love golf and I love the people around me even more. So one day I’m talking about getting a putting mat for the office when Chloe Kiessling overhears me. And let me be clear, what happened next was all her. She worked it out with the office team, cleared the budget and got the furniture moved to make it fit. I had the dream. Chloe made it real. And this was never just about golf. It was about creating a moment. A reason to step away, reset and come back sharper. The sales team got a place to take calls away from the noise. Everyone got a few minutes to breathe. Around $1,000 and some puzzle logistics moves later…that putting mat became a stop on the office tour for perspective hires. I’d overhear visitors gasp and point it out themselves. It sent a message. We care about the people here. And that matters when you’re trying to bring in the right talent. Small investment. Big message. My ambition has never been limited to my job title. I want to be a catalyst for better culture, but this story reminds me that the best ideas come to life when the right people believe in them, too. You don’t have to be in leadership to lead. Sometimes it starts with one conversation. And sometimes it takes a Chloe to make it real. ❤️ Thank you for reading.🙏 Love, Frank
