SIGNAL has the Mic. Not NOISE. It’s not about faster calculations, it’s about preventing the loss. Not more dashboards but better decisions. Not more data but knowing what actually matters. As we talk about digital efficiency in dry bulk, there’s an uncomfortable truth: we’ve become very good at creating outputs… but not as good at questioning if they should exist in the first place. Because in our world: Noise is bad data, excess outputs, and distraction. Signal is a clear, confident decision. At Geneva Dry 2026, I’m looking forward to moderating a panel on Digital Efficiency Drivers with one clear theme: Declutter the decision. For me and my fellow panelists it comes down to three "C" things: Curiosity — to challenge what we create Context — to focus on what matters Commerciality — to drive real outcomes Without these, we don’t simplify decisions we just digitise the clutter. Grateful to Sam Chambers & Grant Rowles and to my fellow panelists Audra Drabloes Daniel Schildt Morten Løvstad Russ Hubbard Willem Vermaat across strategy, commercial, classification, technology, and trading. The real question isn’t just: What tools are you using? It’s: In driving digital efficiency, what decisions did you drop, postpone, or act on? And one note during or outside the panel, if you spot me… Start with this: What decision did you choose to drop or postpone? What’s your signal-to-noise ratio these days? Let’s start there 🙂 #GenevaDry #DryBulk #DeclutterDecisions #Maritime #Marcura Bruno Deszczynski Dylan Ray Mace Martin Penney Piers Yea
