London's Knowledge Quarter has a new addition to the mix of pharma, biotech, research and healthcare institutions that make the Kings Cross area so exciting for life sciences. Together with colleagues from Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, I was fortunate to be at the opening of Topcon Healthcare's incubator initiative, THINC EMEA, a few minutes walk away from the Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health, where we will be working from next year.
