It was a great pleasure for our team from Universitätsspital Zürich Department of Neurosurgery to inspire 24 medical students University of Zurich for the field of neurosurgery at the SurgeAHEAD course 2026. Amazing facilities at OR-X and organization by Anatol Aicher allowed us to introduce the students to tumor microsurgery, vascular microsurgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, as well as hydrocephalus, craniostomy and craniotomy, patient positioning in the Mayfield clamp, all on highly realistic models.
